2-Santa Julià de Lòria
As we cross into Andorra, our first stop will be at the Duana de Sant Julià de Lòria, the border control point. This optional quick stop offers a unique opportunity to get your passport stamped, marking your entry into one of Europe’s fascinating microstates. While we won’t be spending much time here, this stamp serves as a special memento of your journey into Andorra. After this brief pause, we will continue our adventure deeper into the country.
3-Pont de la Margineda
As we officially enter Andorra, our journey follows the historic road toward the capital. Along the way, we make a short stop at Pont de la Margineda, the largest preserved medieval bridge in Andorra. Built in the 15th century, this 100-feet-long stone bridge gracefully spans the Valira River with a single, 30 feet arch. It’s a chance to appreciate Andorra’s medieval heritage and enjoy a photo stop before we continue to Andorra la Vella.
4-Andorra La Vella
When we cross the border into Andorra, we head to Andorra la Vella, the country’s capital. 7-The Nobility of Time
Our next stop is the Salvador Dali sculpture, an iconic piece of art located in Andorra la Vella. This sculpture adds a touch of artistic flair to the city's landscape and is a must-see for art enthusiasts.
8-Pont de París
We then visit the Pont de París, a beautiful bridge in Andorra la Vella that offers scenic views of the fast-flowing Valira River. This stop provides a perfect photo opportunity and a chance to appreciate the city's modern architecture.
9-Caldea Building
Our tour continues to the Caldea building, a striking structure that houses one of Europe's largest spa complexes. While we won't be entering the spa, you will have the chance to admire its unique architecture and learn about its significance to Andorra.
10-Escaldes
Stroll through Escaldes-Engordany, a town shaped by its natural hot springs that have influenced local life since Roman times. 11-Lunch
After exploring Ordino, it's time for lunch! We recommend trying one of the family-owned restaurants that serve up authentic Andorran dishes using fresh, local ingredients. The cost of lunch is not included in the tour package.
12-Valle de Incles
After lunch, the next step in the Barcelona to Andorra day trip is driving to the highest peak in the country. As you wind through the gorgeous region, you’ll stop off at Valle de Incles, a mountain valley where you’ll get a firsthand look at what life in Andorra used to be like. 13-Port d'Envalira
